Sherpa - A Basecamp Companion App Reviews

This app no longer works. You cannot see any of your projects. Do a search on the web and you will find tons of threads of it bring broken. The developers will not respond and their web support forums only contain spam and Viagra threads. Their website has place holder text on all their links and has been incomplete for a while. This app will NOT do what it claims.

The app seem simply broken right now, Ive tested it with multiple account and I cant see anything

I tried the app with several accounts and did some further research thinking that I was doing something wrong but the app simply does not currently work.

No problem in installation. Works well after login. All categories are properly displayed. Great value for a free up. Need some improvements in text type face command within messages. Otherwise great app.

Loved this app for the old Basecamp but now that Ive migrated to the new Basecamp I cant access my projects.

Keeps crashing for no apparent reason.

This is the first Basecamp companion app I tried. Its free, which is nice, and it seems to provide basic functionality Id expect to handle Basecamp tasks. The problems: (a) it has the same name as a for-pay app that does the same thing, but isnt the free "try before you buy" version of that; (b) it doesnt state anywhere on the website whether it does SSL connections; and (c) it doesnt seem to be developed actively at all, going by the state of activity on the app companys website. Worth a try, but it might be better to pay for another app if youre a heavy BC user.

Time tracking does not work for me - I am unable to log time spent on a particular project, form is submitted with no warning, but record is absent

This app requires URL, but I do not have it.

Nice design. Love that it is free. But you cant view logged time on a projects or add time. Which is really one of the big reasons to use this On a mobile phone

Suddenly stopped loading projects so I reinstalled. That didnt work so I visited their support site, which locked up safari. 100% CPU usage. The page has lorem ipsum all over which is legalese placeholder text. There is Viagra and cialis spam all over. In short they are hacked. Site is probably riddled with malware too.

Set it all up but the projects page doesnt display any of my projects. Surprised this doesnt utilize the API key.

This app should be deleted from the App Store. There is no support. Their site forums are riddled with spam and links to pornography.

I just upgraded my old 2G, but Sherpa no longer works--no projects show up! Any plans to update this app?

No projects show. App is currently broken, so dont bother downloading it until you see something to the contrary.

Having the same issue as others. This app is not working. No projects display. I will change my rating if it gets fixed.
